Dumptruck and Butterlips found each other during their brief involvement in a traveling road show of drunken clowns.  When the speaker machine crashed.. they ran for the hills of Kansas.  Picking up along the way Surka and Megan.

"They all realized they shared a greater vision of spreading love and positivity through music."

...and this has been their mission since.  Dumptruck Butterlips has been dubbed with a new genre, "bedroom bluegrass".  The style of their music pleases everyone from the young to the old with styles including bluegrass, folk, soul, and everything in between.  Their lyrics have made people laugh, cry, and feel all silly all at once.  Not only is DumpTruck Butterlips a band, but they've also been known to include circus sideshow acts in their shows.
